The Titans were enormous mechanisms built in the past, possibly modeled upon the Giants.

Titans[]
Their origin and intended purpose remains unclear throughout the story. All that is left are their remains- one in each cardinal direction.
The first three can be found in the East, North, and West. The Northern Titan is seen grabbing the mountain. Further exploration of the North reveals its lower arm has been severed off. The Eastern Titan is seen submerged in the lake, and a large hole in its chest indicates a projectile passed through it.
The Western Titan is seen fighting against the raccoons in the West. It appears to be on the same side as the Blue-skinned people but was impaled through the head and overgrown with crystal.
The last visible Titan is in the Southern labs. Two large robotic organs can be seen in the area. Eyes and a beating heart are displayed in large containment vessels, and the head and torso appear to be hollow in the background. This indicates this Titan was still under construction or was possibly being repaired after sustaining heavy damage. However, the opening cinematic of the game shows 4 Titans in the distance immediately following the explosion. This would seem to indicate that the Southern Titan was fully operational at one point and was subsequently damaged and moved into the Southern labs for repairs. It could also be that the fourth Titan seen in the opening cinematic was in fact totally destroyed, and the one seen in the labs was actually meant to be a replacement which was never completed.
It can be assumed that Judgment activated various machines and creatures that were being stored in the labs (like the blue skinned people and Titans) and released them against the four peoples of the World; causing a terrible and destructive war that destroyed most of the civilization and practically reset it.
Giants[]
A mysterious skeleton lies in the beginning of the West Zone. We don't know for sure that it was indeed a Titan, as this skeleton is white, whereas the other Titans are purple. It seems like a biological creature having a skeleton rather than a mechanical body and appears larger than the Titans.

- ...it is the Pink Energy source itself that corrupts.
- ...they led to the disappearance of this ancient race.

As a matter of fact. it is never mentioned, how large the titans are. But at the beginning of the game, three titans are seen emerging from the clouds. That taken into count, it is quite possible that the titans were from 1-2 kilometers tall as the first clouds only appear after 1.5 kilometers from the ground level.
